Rockingham Insurance Reveals New Brand

Mid-Atlantic Insurer highlights hometown roots with new tagline “Wherever you are, we’re here”.

HARRISONBURG, Va., February 22, 2018

Rockingham Insurance is proud to be a part of the communities we have served since 1869. To better reflect who we are and what we stand for, we’ve changed our name from Rockingham Group to Rockingham Insurance and adopted a new brand that celebrates the region we call home.

Rockingham Insurance is sporting a new logo, television, radio, and billboard advertising, as well as a targeted digital marketing campaign reaching over 4 million prospective customers in Virginia and Pennsylvania. The new website has been developed to provide an intuitive user experience and make it easy to start a quote, find a local agent or submit a claim. The site features an upgraded Find a Local Agent feature that automatically detects visitors’ locations to show the agents nearest them.

The rebranding strategy is a culmination of over a year’s work with advertising agency Circle S Studios in Richmond Virginia. Vice President of Marketing, Bill Bayer said “The transformed brand was developed using extensive market research.  The comprehensive process included feedback from key stakeholders, our policyholders, agents, and employees. We’ve been here for well over a century, and our coverage has evolved to meet the changing needs of our community.
